Title: Mini PC with integrated ATI RX VEGA compatilibity ?
Post by: archimage on April 05, 2023, 06:58:22 am
Hi Calamity, are the drivers compatible with this kind of small factor computers with embedded ATI VEGA ?

https://www.amazon.fr/NiPoGi-Windows-AM02-Ordinateur-Business/dp/B0BJ6TC18J/ref=sr_1_10?__mk_fr_FR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=25CSQ26PLRMC2&keywords=mini+pc+ati+vega&qid=1680692045&s=computers&sprefix=mini+pc+ati+vega%2Ccomputers%2C64&sr=1-10

Do hdmi work correctly for application with Groovymame ?

I'd like to make sure before buying such a device.

Thanks

Cheers

HMDI can work, under the right conditions, you just need a converter.

The problem is that integrated APU's are always a risk. The general advice is that if you already own one, by all means give it a shot. Just don't go out and buy one expecting it to work with crt_emudriver.

Hello yes I have tested it and it seems that the current drivers don't support the RX Vega 10 it's not detected.

Is there a workaround for this ?

I have read that groovyarcade may work but I have interest on Windows actually.

Cheers

What I can tell you for sure, is that it's better to buy a HP EliteDesk Mini with a Ryzen 2200G (not GE) or 2400G, a DP2VGA converter, and it will work just perfect.

PS : I know some french guy from another forum with the same nickname who was also very interested in CRT with a Raspberry, is it you ? If yes, you should remember me ;)
