Hi Calamity.
I have a problem with my 25kHz monitor that I have never had before.
I reinstalled the crt emudrivers and i have a problem with resolution 640x480 i
Before the new one I was able to view it in full screen.
Now, however, it displays it compressed only in the lower part of the monitor.
If I remember correctly, the resolution was seen by arcadeosd as native but now it is seen as custom
I am attaching a photo of the mistake.
Can U help me? Thanks

How can 480i work at 25 kHz at all?
-
I really do not know...
But I can assure you that before updating the drivers it worked perfectly and could be seen in full screen. And despite being an interlaced frequency the flicker was really low. It was a perfect resolution for all those applications designed to run at 640x480 by default.
And I can also guarantee you that my crt is single frequency fixed at 25khz.

OK I've solved! My monitor configuration in ini file was the problem!

These are 2 screens of a 640x480i in a 25khz monitor.
Calamity can u explain?

Hello,
I would say that a small display area is expected when you have 480i@60Hz and 25 kHz .
In this case more time will be allocated to blanking (compared to optimal 768i), so basically you get a 480 lines area drawn into a 768 one.
The curious thing is the fact you had a correct display before.
Did you make any modification to your monitor adjustement pots since then? If not then maybe your monitor secretly supports 15 kHz and was in this configuration for 480i without you knowing.

Now the problems are solved! I've solved modifying my monitor.ini. The snaps are of a correct full 640x480i on a 25khz! The question is... Why I can see a 640x480i if my monitor specs start at 600i and end at 768i? What I exactly see? Is just for my curiosity

I would like to know too. Can you share screenshots of arcadeosd, 640x480i, modeline menus please?
