Title: Mortal Kombat 2 Wiring Harness
Post by: Thetauri1999 on March 06, 2023, 02:22:31 pm
Can anyone post a link to the wiring harness I would need to replace the original wiring harness for the joysticks and buttons for a dedicated MK 2 arcade game?

According to the KLOV entry about this cabinet, Mortal Kombat II (https://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8756) uses a standard JAMMA harness on connector P1.
- Any standard JAMMA harness will be fine as long as it has the -5v lines for audio and you check that pins 25, 26, c, and d are not connected to be sure that you don't get a mis-labeled "CHAMMA" (Chinese JAMMA) harness.

MKII also uses a 4 wire "kick" harness on connector P5 with "Low Punch" and "Low Kick" for P1 and P2.

Here are the pinouts for MKII wiring.
