Title: 86Box4crt - Switchres
Post by: psakhis on February 12, 2023, 12:09:55 pm
Hi,
I build a fork for this very accurate pc emulator. More updated than PCem and kms compatible on GroovyArcade.

https://github.com/psakhis/86Box4crt

This fork is oriented to accuracy with exclusive fullscreen mode without gui. You need configure your machines with regular 86Box version.

I recommend KMS GroovyArcade (non Xorg) or Windows version.

It appears to be a fort of PCem. Is it any better than regular PCem ?

86Box is focused on accuracy. Probably you can't reach a Pentium II 300 without a high end cpu.

86Box updates are frequently and PCem had last update one year ago; at this point 86Box is more easier to adapt for kms.

Maybe in the future i will work on PCem kms version, but i prefer add opengl 3.3 on 86Box4crt, now is opengl.
