While working on my Windows 10 PC racing build I stumbled upon 3 Daytona 2 cabs (by stumbled I mean watching the marketplace and driving 3 hours one way the day I found the post). :)
The boards are largely shot due to corrosion issues. I plan mix the parts of the cabinets to make 2 decent ones and to run 2 PCs in the cabs and link as many 2 player games as I can.
I've seen video's of others who have cut into the dash to install a racing wheel, I have 2 G27s. But wondering if there is a way to use the stock wheel/shifter and keep the dashboard intact? I saw one post where someone used the Arduino (MEGA 2560) is that like souped up ipac? Would like to hear what options there are to keep the original wheel/shifter/pedals? ...and how difficult those options are?

For model 2 there was the L2M2 board, which i think took advantage of the guts of a logitech DFGT to interface with. I'm sure that's been updated now, but can't remember other names.
I'm not sure if that works in model 3 though, but there will be something that does. MMOS or arduino FFB projects are out there. Empo was giving this a crack in his build thread - http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,159162.0.html
Doing it isn't simple, but you will get respect and advice for sticking with the orignal guts :)
If you really can't stick with original guts, remove as much as you can intact, including the dashboards and mounting hardware - it'll all be worth money to someone.
