Hi,
Just wrote a lua plugin for crt users on mame, aka groovymame.

gunlight plugin applies addition brightness on frames when gun button is pressed.

Does this plugin still work with GroovyMame 0.253? I think it may need updated - Mame crashes on startup with this enabled, but it seems to work as expected in GroovyMame 0.253.

You are right. I fixed plugin to work on mame .253. Seems mame now uses lua engine 5.3

Is is possible to have a MAME plugin that solves the 4x3 game on a 16x9 screen problem some light gun systems have with MAME? That would helpful to have added to the plugin
