Title: Filter 31khz signal
Post by: iori01 on August 16, 2022, 05:31:21 am
Hi all,

While transforming my Blast cabinet to 31khz only, I have now a PC with a multi front-end.
Problem I have is boot sequence, where monitor get lots of different frequencies other than 31k before being on desktop.
I'm looking for a solution to protect the screen like Jammasd is doing and let only 31k passthrough.
Do you have an idea to acheive this ?
Can't use Atom since card is Nvidia, can't boot the PC before the cabinet because JVS is not powered and then not recognized.
Any idea is welcome 😊

I think a J-pac will let you filter for 31kHz. Possibly 31kHz and below, but that might do it?

Or you can take a look at Gambaman's code for his Ultimate SCART adapter. I could never it to compile right, but the lines for the frequency band are in there, and you could probably make it output separate sync. Hmm, the more i go on the more complicated it seems, but possibly worth a look?

Thanks for this proposal, this is exactly what I was looking for.

But in the meantime I've found a workaround to change the Graphic Card to an AMD R9 2XX , hence I've flashed BIOS with Atom (31 only) and voila !

Thanks again for your help.
