That is an impossible request really, just based on controls.

Which pcb are you talking about?

I bought one of those years back and figured I was going to build the ultimate upright multi-vector cabinet.

It is actually a reworked Game Elf box that runs rasterized versions of those games.

To me the image and play quality is not even as good as a regular old MAME setup.

You could just use Mame and the Zektor ZVG pcb (over parellel port), to a real vector monitor.  Of course as bobby says, controls will limit how many actual game you could play in a single cabinet.  Example Zektor multi-cab build:

BTW: I never use Facebook, but believe there is a vector community on there that are working on an updated FPGA vector driver like the Zektor.

I have seen a Zektor setup for sale every now and again but it apparently is a real beast to get working- and requires some old hardware too.

Like Dave_K says, there is another project being developed to integrate a PC or RPi to a legit vector monitor but I don't know how far along it is.

I got a USB-DVG that I waited over a year for and haven't been able to even test it out because I don't have a vector monitor built yet.

Sadly there is some drama involved with the progenitor of that particular project now.

If you want to run a real vector monitor however I'm not sure if there are any other options yet.

A properly set up mame build even with a regular old raster crt actually looks remarkably good even though not absolutely authentic obviously.

Pulling off a proper vector build is quite detailed- and not inexpensive.
