So i bought a champions countertop game, that comes with a 13" Tatung monitor (thanks Mike for the id) The game is dead so im gonna reporpuse this as a mame game. I dont have anything to test the monitor right now but as you can see on the pictures, it looks like its working but needs sdjustments and of course a cap kit. Has anyone had any advice on this? it looks like it has its own ISO on the side. monitor turns on just fine, and without a game i can see raster lines. Thanks for your time. UPS one more question, is this a regular arcade monitor? or vga resolution? i ask because it has a vga cable in it.

its a 31k vga chassis, which is why your signal generator is showing that image

you sure about that, this is what I get in wndows, ive tried with 1024x768 and 800x600, ive couldnt do 640x480 as windows wont had that resolution. Also looks like is missing red and blue.

yeah 31k which 640 x 480
your blue and red were not missing with the generator

I got the color working, however 640x480 displays the same result ,so I really really doubt this is 31khz...I'll keep testing

try 15khz on it

yeah,im working on that,i dotn a source for that at the moment.

the tpg you have produces a 15k image so maybe look at you sync wiring, i imagine you know there is a switch for selecting 15k or 25k on that as well
