Title: USB Spinner/Flightstick Analog Stick Functionality
Post by: Drakkorcia on June 10, 2022, 08:00:55 am
As my cabinet has evolved from simple MAME to newer generation consoles I am finding more and more games using analog thumbsticks for controls. I have a USB spinner and Ultimarc 360FS (analog mini flightstick) on the cabinet and wanted to know the possibility of mapping these to take over the duties of the thumbsticks on a Xbox 360 controller.

Using a PC game as an example, an arcade joystick can move the character W/A/S/D and the Ultimarc 360FS function as a mouse in the right hand with trigger as a left click. The rest of the keys are easily mapped with the i-pac2 xinput for a 360 controller.

It's got to possible. Someone has had to have done this.

Thoughts?
