I had my R86 parts serviced by Alan Hood (Ami Man) in 2019 and all was working well. I have since moved the machine to another house and it’s has stopped working. All seems to power up but the record will not select and play after the numbers are selected. The carousel doesn’t move. If I push the cancel button the carousel does rotate however. I’m guessing it’s the mech control board but I don’t really know.
I can’t get hold of Ami Man by phone or email (hope he’s ok). Any advice appreciated as I don’t know anyone else in the Uk with the requisite Rowe Ami knowledge.
