Title: Tips for Dart Board Matrix Repair
Post by: wichitakid71 on April 03, 2022, 12:27:51 am
I picked up a Merit Scorpion 9000 dart board.  It seems to be close to 100% with one big exception - it won't register bullseye hits.  I was able to determine that it is not the board but using alligator clips on the (from right to left) pins 2/4 and pin 20.  However when the matrix ribbon cable connector is plugged into the pins I get nothing.  Below are some photos of the condition of my ribbon cable.

Can anyone tell how I disconnect the ribbon cable from the connector so I can see if it is a connector issue?  And if it isn't, how can I splice or repair the FFC so I can get the bully to register.

Thanks in advance for any help.
