Like the title says, is anyone making custom ball tops righ now? :banghead:

What specifically are you looking for? Interested because I may have the capabilities to make them, just never have.

Thanks for the reply. I have some of the stuff too (my kid makes jewlery) and I have been wanting to try to make my own for a while now. So i think Im going to give it a shot myself and see how bad I can screw it up. I think I may try and put some small scorpions in the resin >:D

New personal goal: create clear ball tops with real demon scorpions in them that are lit by a RGB led
Well, I have got my four dead demon scorpions >:D in the mail and some liquid diamonds resin in the mail. I couldn't find any 10mm sleeves to fit the hollow joysticks from paradisearcade so I got some nuts with flared ends that look cool and I plan on using them :cheers:
The scorpions are cool but I don't like touching them because they are just gross :cry: but their is always a price for being cool. Kind of like a big spiderweb face tattoo, they look great if you don't mind never having a job, girlfriend, or scaring small children :laugh2: Just kidding go ahead and get that full face Donkey Kong tat, I wont judge.
The only thing left is the darn silicon molds. They all come from China and its taking forever :banghead:
So when I get working on this I will let you all know how it went and how much it all cost to have some clear balltops with scorpions in the and lit up from a RGB led underneath. I'm good at arts and crafts so I think I can pull this off but I could see it all ending up bad as well :P
This weekend I put the bugs in the pose I like with pins and let them dry out, Not looking forward to this part :o

I tried the burrito guy, creative circuits, and several others that google popped up and all are taking a break for a while. Hell, I even translated a message into Spanish to ask a guy in Spain, who sells custom ball tops on Etsy, he wouldn't do the 10mm threads I needed :dizzy:
Someone was selling these things at paradisearcades about two years back so yea its been done before
I do have some mold making goop my daughter gave me in case I cant wait on China anymore for the molds, but it is blue and I wouldn't be able to see if the scorpions are staying in place :o

Just buy a silicone sphere mold and some epoxy. Stick a skull in it. Done.
