Apologies for another 'I can't figure it out' post. My old brain is literally melting and I can't sleep for trying to figure it out!!
I have a UK/Europe Sony BVM 20G1E (recent purchase), an old Lenovo M93p with an ATI/AMD Radeon HD 6450 1GB graphics card.
The computer is attached to the monitor via DVI-I into a VGA adapter and then VGA to 5 BNC (I also have a 4 BNC lead).
Switchres installed fine and can see my AMD.
Starting up CRTEmu and the only monitor pre-set that doesn't cause the screen to roll is NTSC TV 60HZ. I select this one and then when generating modelines (using super.ini) it gives me 5 to install (it does say 26 redundant video modes found).
When I try and run a game via Groovymame for example, Outrun video mode is 320 x 224 (H) 60.05439 Hz and Switchres is 2560 x 240p 59.940 kHz the games will start to vertically roll very slowly.
If I run via Groovymame for example, Super Sprint video is 512 x 384 (H) 60.096153 kHz and Swithres is 2560 x 480i 59.940 Hz 15.734 kHz the game runs fine.
Would I be right in thinking I have a problem with games displaying at 240p?
I can usually figure this stuff out via research, tutorials etc and really don't want to be a bother, but if someone can shed some light on what I'm doing wrong I would be super grateful!
I've included some pics and videos that might help?
Many thanks.

Unless you're using the c-sync switch in VMMaker, you need a way to combine H&V syncs in order to feed the BVM.

Thanks for the reply Calamity, I can appreciate how busy you must be.
I had tried it with csync on, but got the same result.
What I hadn’t tried was turning csync on and taking the desktop resolution down to 240p.
It works brilliantly!! No more rolling screen!!
Thank you so much for your help!!

Thanks Buttersoft, I’m really pleased with it (my girlfriend not so much!).

I’m back with another question!
I’ve purchased a Radeon R9 380x and installed CRT Emudriver.
(CRT Emudriver & CRT Tools 2.0 beta 15 (Adrenalin 18.5.1 for GCN* cards) for Windows 10 64-bits)
When playing certain games - Super Sprint, Virtua Racing etc I get the horizontal line that looks corrupted near the top of the screen (see pic).
I don’t get this on 240p games.
Also, checking back on my previous card, a Radeon HD 6450 this line doesn’t appear when playing the same games.
I’ve not installed Atom-15, do I need to? Have I installed the correct CRT Emudrivers?
Any input is greatly received.
Finally, I watched Calamity being interviewed on YouTube the other day. Really fascinating! Fantastic!!
