So it’s not a bootleg but it was limited release and unlicensed?
Whatever. This is the best fight and go right none of us ever heard of.
Here’s my cart from Thailand with a Malenko label.

And here I am at the final boss.

It is a long, long game. You get an extra life at every 50,000 points. The difficulty ramps up a lot as you progress. No grappling but the graphics are very nice for Genesis. No weapon pick ups, either.
Give this one a shot.

I might get you to reflash Golden Axe III to this. Man did my memory fail me on that game, I must have been thinking about GA2 or something.
Can you toe stab in this game?
-
“fight and go right” is a terrible name for a genre.
-
Meh I probably read it in GamePro 30 years ago and will die on this hill, brawler boy.
-
beat-em-up man
-
Yeah feel free to kill over at the top of boot hill but it's beat-em-up. Fight and go right immediately falls apart once you hit an elevator stage.... and they all have an elevator stage.
-
And when that elevator gets to the roof…. You go right.
Case closed.
-
I kinda like the rhyming of fight and go right.
If someone can come up with some fun alliteration for the beat em up thing I could potentially wind up with preferring that-
-
You sometimes go left in The Punisher. One of the top games of the genre. :dunno
-
I like the way it sounds, I am stuck in my ways, I have yielded to modernity on too many other words, and I will continue to call them fight and go rights. Every single one of you knew exactly what was meant the first time you heard me use the phrase, much like your experience the first times you heard "tramp stamp" and "waffle stomp."
-
You gotta fight for your right

You can call it "fight and go right, but sometimes left, and sometimes elevators".
Or "beat-em-up except when you get a gun and shoot bad guys or stab them or you kill them instead of beating them up".

Yeah but the problem with that argument is normal people have been calling them either a beat-em-up or a brawler since the mid-90s. ;)
-
I've heard beat em up and "fight and go right" , when he said "fight and go right" I knew exactly what he meant (and so did all of you) so I'm not sure what the argument is.
Is PL1 so busy googling answers for everyone and killing conversations , that we all have to huddle up in the console section and argue semantics?
-
I always thought “fight and go right” was something only pbj said, and I thought he said it as a joke.
Fast-forward years later, I find he was actually serious. :lol
Never heard anyone in my life call it that. It’s weird.
-
I still have no idea what "tramp stamp" and "waffle stomp" are
-
Long ago I had a girlfriend who turned out to be an exotic dancer who showed me what a tramp stamp is.
:)
No clue on the waffle thing- unless it is getting trampled by people wearing original Nikes.
-
Awwww ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---. Stupid me, I googled it and now I know. Unfortunately I won't be unable to forget until Alzheimers sets in.
-
Whale Tail is a fun one. :lol
-
I did some googling. There’s other people using the term but not many.

Oh well, I like it.
