Title: My Wico leaf joy - It finallly arrived, but....
Post by: Oldskool on February 27, 2004, 07:54:36 pm

The parts list for the "2-Way, 4-Way, 8-Way Replacement Stick" calls up two switch actuators.

One is used for 2 and 8 way use (.600" diameter), and the other is used for 4-way use (.500" diameter)

I only received the .600" with my stick.

The model number is 15-9653. Should I have received both?

Where can I get a .500" ?

This is probably something that I can make, but I was just wondering.....

Thanks in advance.

They never come with both. :(  Mine didn't either. The instruction sheet is misleading as I thought I was missing one too. Talk about cheap >:(. I mean how much could it cost to throw in both actuators ? Maybe another 3 cents ? ::)

I'd be hard pressed to believe Wico sold these for more than $5 each when new, so I'd likely attribute them leaving out the other actuator up to penny pinching. Then again, the other actuator is useless for a given stick, so there would be no good reason to include it as it'd likely just be tossed in the trash by the service techs.

If you can scare up a Wico rebuild kit, they come with both actuators.

Are you going to be using yours for 4-way action only?  If so, I have the .5 actuator but I need the .6.  If you only need 4-way action then I'd be more than happy to trade with you.
