I'm trying to patch my uprights HD 4350 card and lbios is hanging when I try to load the patched bios, but its also hanging if I try the original bios.
The fact that lbios is hanging even when I try to apply the original rom makes me think the patched rom may not be the issue, but I'm curious what people here say first before I potentially brick this thing.

I only tried on the first card i did, but I could never get lbios to work. I went ahead anyway with perfect results every time. The project it even more mature now.
Which is not a guarantee, but you're never going to get one, so it's up to you :)
You should be able to recover a bricked card with another card. And possibly by plugging into a mobo video port.

Yes, just go ahead. I just made that lbios program to help me testing things, it's very hacky and I guess it hangs DOS depending on the vbios file size. It loads vbios on system ram and executes it, what could go wrong.

Flashed it this morning and all went well.
