I might use one in my cab to hold accesories. It will make me go over my original budget, but hell, it will be the focal point of my cab. All my friends will be very impressed.

ahh, but you didn't read the fine print! It clearly states that the solid gold lid maid is being substituted with the plastic version due to quality control issues. The TV and X-Box are only offered if you receive the solid gold Lid Maid. ;)

It was a win/win situation.

Well, just in case the page vanishes, here is my review. I suggest you had better start hunting for one NOW, because they will be more rare than a Tron / Food Fight / Cliff Hanger multi machine. No lie.

***I had seen a variant of this product at Lechters for twelve dollars. I couldn't resist the temptation; I HAD to organize my lids, yet I am a tightwad and I thought that the fifty two thousand dollar price tag was a little steep.

I brought the cheap knockoff home only to find not only that some of my lids didn't fit, the knockoff would actually SHOOT MY LIDS across the kitchen floor. I have three HUGE dings in my dishwasher and the family dog was mortally wounded. Unacceptable!!

I have since bought the Lid Maid, and I couldn't be happier. Household fatalities have now reached an all time low and my lids look so cozy all nestled in the Lid Maid.

While some may bristle at the cost, I would just like to testify that it was worth every penny. After all, we can't put a price tag on our loved ones.

I can't recommend this product enough.
