Title: Arcade Controls on Dreamcast
Post by: Danhanado on August 28, 2021, 03:45:03 am
Hi there,
I've just bought 2 Brook Wingman SD converters for the Dreamcast to find that neither of my PCBs work. The generic USB Encoder works for a second when plugged in and then stops. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Looks like windows is having a hard time determining which encoder board is first.

Plug one in.  Wait for the HID drivers to install then plug the second one in for player two.

My PC/PS3 read both the boards fine, it's my Brook Wingman SD for the Dreamcast that won't work with them

Try disabling and re enabling in device manager.

Put vocalitus on ignore.

It has problems with modded DCs.

Compatibility:   The Brook Retro Board was tested on official (unmodded) retro systems that are supported.  It's guaranteed to work on these systems.  Modded or customized hardware may or may not work, as many of those systems were produced after this board.  Brook has updated the firmware to work on some systems, such as the Mister, but for others, please expect that it will not work.

So its probably the same with your board, which might be the problem

Try disabling and re enabling in device manager.
