Title: Touching up Marquee Glass
Post by: mmmPeanutButter on February 26, 2004, 08:59:03 am
I'm looking at buying an original glass marquee for my cabinet.  There are a couple of spots where the paint is gone.

I was initially thinking about using some touch-up paint.  Then I thought that since I am likely getting a bezel custom printed on vinyl, that I would just use part of the center (previously unused) portion of the bezel to get the portions of the marquee that are missing reprinted.  I would simply apply the small pieces where they are missing.

I think both would look great when the cab was off, but I'm not too sure about their performance when the light was on.  I wouldn't want the whole marquee to light up and for there to be dark spots.

Anybody have any tips?

Thanks so much.
