Title: Best video card for TV monitor?
Post by: Knievel on February 25, 2004, 07:23:23 pm
Hmm.... I just got offered a great deal on a 27" TV so my plans to use my arcade monitor may be on hold for a while. :)

Just wondering what video card those of you using TV's w/s-video recommend...I'm thinking the latest ATI? I want to get the best picture that the TV route has to offer.

Thanks

I'm interested in knowing to.  I thought about just picking up a cheapy ATi Rage Fury Pro for $10 on eBay as mine is a dedicated box.

Amongst the TV guys here, I know that 99% will tell you that an ATI card is the best one for the job....

The latest ATI is not required.  I picked up an radeon 7500 for around 35$ and its s-video out is much better than the geforce 3 ti500 that is on my main rig.
