Yes I do find the new board slower.

This new board is getting unbearably slow that it's hard to use. It takes 15 minutes to look at 3 threads. You need to scale back the bells and whistles, find a faster server/connection or switch to a different board. Just my opinion.

Are you on dialup? I find the speed VERY acceptable with cable. Also when you find it slow, How many people are on?

I'm on a 56k dail-up, and the speed is fine for me.  I do expect it to be a little slow, since I load about 3-6 treads on new pages at a time, but it's very comparable to other boards I visit.

The one page I find the slowest is the BYOAC message forum index page, but it's not to bad either.  It just seems slow since I'm not reading anything yet.
