Title: Updating GroovyMAME

Hello. I'm a bit behind on all the changes with GM (Life!) I feel like I'm missing something with the updates to switchres or crtemudriver. Is there a guide for updating from 0.227 or have I got it wrong and there's nothing new really except the move to using GitHub? I've checked here and at geedorah, but still can't seem to track down the info. Please could some kind soul point me in the right direction here? Thanks!

Hi Jonny G,

In order to update, go to the releases (https://github.com/antonioginer/GroovyMAME/releases) page, download and unzip, edit mame.ini and set your rompath and monitor preset (the same you used with 0.227), and run.

SR 2.0 is a major internal redesign. From the user's point of view it should work mostly the same (hopefully).

Thanks very much for confirming the process Calamity.

I guess I had read too much into the various changes and expected it to be more complex than it actually is.
