Hi, this is the first time I will be buying a cabinet. A guy from a videogames place offered me a Killer Instinct machine in very good stetic conditions for 300 dolars. Seeing the prices that these machines sell in the US I think it's a good price.
The problem is that I noticed that the monitor is not in a very good shape, the image in blurry because it has like a "ghosted" image. And I think that the colors are wrong too.
Do you think this could be an easy repair or it's a major problem with the monitor?
I have to be able to repair it myself, since I can't find much people that do these kind of things in my country, and the few that does are way too expensive. What do you think?
Thank you.

without seeing it first hand it sounds like it would just be a simple cap kit solution--very easy to do yourself provided you have some skills with a soldering iron.

It may be that the adjustments on the chassis and neck board are out of whack. Fiddle with them a bit before you break out the soldering iron.

Thank you, so you say there is probably any major problem with it, right?, that's great.
Another question, the capacitors that come with the Cap Kit are hard to find or something? or I can buy them in an electronics shop? (no problem with soldering, I'm almost an electronics engineer :) )
And a last one [OT], do you think it's a good deal for this machine?, the cabinet is in very good condition and the game working fine.
Thank you.

most aren't but you may have an oddball or two try bob roberts or zanen electronics if you do.

300$ is pretty reasonable for a nice fully operational cab--have fun!
