Hi everyone, new here but building my second table top arcade controller. First was cheap ebay buttons and joysticks but enjoyed building and using. Nephews love it. So going up a level with ultimarc products, Ultimate i/o, led buttons, trackball, etc.
All the buttons work and have everything programmed and working in Launchbox and Bigbox. Running a Win10 machine. I am having strange issues with LEDs. One button is stuck on green. And NO LED power plugged in!!! I also was messing with LEDblinky and plugs 1 -16 did nothing and 17 on worked as they should. Again.....NO power connected to LED plug.
When I plug in LED power, I don't get anything. The default LED program does not work.
I am very confused. The LED plugs are all straight forward and not sure how I could have messed those up. I'm at a loss. Tried power from USB. A 5v wall plug. Tested the led's and they work from being wired directly to power. So it is something in the board I am guessing?
Thoughts or ideas would be appriciated....(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210220/4f077b1df7fef0468c5e2960b2c5d36c.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210220/84c44fe7eb71aacc5ea222bd2bc398be.jpg)

I'm by no means a pro at this... I'm using the same board with a pi 4 setup. I'm powering my LED's with a wall wart plug that i bought that is plugged into the I-PAC. how are you supplying power to the board? is it supplying enough power to the board?

Thanks for the reply.
I've tried every way I can think of except a direct plug. Have an adaptor to the computer power plug (forgetting the name) to a USB. Plugged USB into computer and into a wall plug (5V). Split a USB cable to get the two power wires and tried connecting to the power cable included with the board. All nothing.
And tested all options with the buttons to confirm I was getting power and all turned on directly wired.
All that said, I get the lights to work in certain pins with out any power supplied to the board on the LED plug.
I am hoping it is something with the board. Andy with Ultimarc got back to me and is sending a replacement. Fingers crossed. I don't know what else it could be.

I hope that works!
Mine works but I’m using a pi 4 and can’t seem to get a program to work that will tell the board to turn the lights on.

Me too....so far both Ultimarc and LEDBlinky customer support has been outstanding. Recommend them to anyone getting into this. I tried everything I could think of before reaching out, but both were quick to offer advice, solutions and in ultimarc's case, drop a replacement in the mail when the issues sounded out of the norm.
