Title: Daytona / Sega Rally brake pedal DYN-1302
Post by: Vegetable on February 12, 2021, 09:03:02 am
Would someone be able to measure the length / diameter of the section of rubber tube (called 'rubber dumper', part number DYN-1302) used on sit-down Daytona and Sega Rally cabs?
I have a set of pedals, but this part is missing, presumably having falling apart.

Thanks so much BigPanik - so if I'm understanding the measurements correctly that's a wall thickness of roughly 5.5mm?

I had a quick search for rubber tubing of around this size, all I've found so far is the softer rubber insulation that would go around 15mm pipes. I'm guessing this is a harder rubber - when the brake is pressed, is it just supposed to compress a little? I can't imagine it would get compressed much.
