Title: Custom animations for RGBCommander or tweak ALWAYS_ON command?
Post by: rolandpibb on January 23, 2021, 04:07:15 am
Been messing around with getting my LEDs lit up on my Pi3b+ with RGB Commander. It's working well. I have the correct LEDs and colours set up on my buttons and joysticks with the emulators I want. It's a great piece of software! I'm getting a little stuck tweaking the LEDs at the Retropie menu or just while running emulationstation

Is there a way to convert the .lwax file formats that LEDBlinky animation program outputs to an .rgba file that RGBCommander can use? In the docs I believe the .rgba is a modified .lwax

I'm trying to have buttons 1 and 2 light up solid for the Retropie menu and inbetween games in emulationstation while having the others animate in a pattern or randomly. I've read the rgbcmdd.xml backwards and forwards, but I'm having trouble understanding the ALWAYS_ON command in regards to having P1_BUTTON1 being ALWAYS_ON.

Any help would be appreciated, cheers
