I have aquired several 3" trackball fixtures and would like to use them on arcade projects.
Problem is i have not been able to solve pinout. Whan i connect 5vdc the optics light up but i cannot get any type of signal from the outputs. These are quadrature connection via a db15 connector. When i meter the output 1 half shows +5vdc the other half shows less than .5vdc. With no changes when moving the ball.
any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
