Can you mod this to play Funhouse and Addams Family via the external HDMI (PC/VPIN) without breaking it?

not likely yet.
no one really knows how all the controls on the encoder works yet.

so you will have to wait until more people look at it.

it would be better to get Atgames Legends pinball, which has hooks for your own tables,
is 1080p, has a glass top instead of plexiglass, and a larger screen.
