I have a ServoStik, and while it seems ok, I find the throw distance way longer than I would like, and it's very loud (clicky switches)
I don't have any experience with other joysticks, so I wanted to know what the ServoStik is based off of, so I can possibly search for another joystick to match what I'm looking for.
If anyone knows if it can be modded with a shorter throw and also replace the loud switches, please let me know.
Note: I'm getting into modern fighting games, so I've been considering Sanwa JLF with silent switches, or Ultimarc U360 with restrictor plate. From what I've read the U360 is based off of Sanwa JLF? Not sure if that is correct, but that would solve the sound issue while still being able to program for 4-way.

I had assumed that Andy was basing all of those sticks off Sanwa units but I could be wrong of course.
You can get a U360 to act like any joystick you want via the software and they are silent.
There is a topside adjustable restrictor plate available for them (4, 8 and analog/round choices) as an add on and it comes with a longer shaft and stiffer spring so you can experiment with throw you like.
Joystick feel is SO subjective that you won't know for yourself until you try really.
And for some people sometimes even function seems subjective!
There must be quieter switches that would swap in- but you would need to experiment with that too probably.
