Hi all,
I spent a bunch of the past couple of months creating artwork for my cabinet (which uses a 43" 4K monitor). I figured I'd share in case anyone else has a similar setup and likes them. Here are a small sample of what's in there:

Here is the artwork:

some design principles (for lack of a better work):
- artwork over 600 games - based upon my personal playlist - includes most of the "classics"
- screens are all the same dimensions (2160x1620 or vice versa)
- mild curvature which I accommodate via HLSL settings - but it looks ok even when not matched by MAME
- used artwork scans where possible; where not, created a simple design for a bezel
- has buttion layout for every game (though some are customized to my setup
- slightly muted and darkened colors and graphics to make the screen stand out
- neo geo style is distinct from the others
- several views so users can disable layers (such as controller layout or notes)
- requires MAME 0.217 and up because it uses some new layout file syntax

Thanks for putting this together and sharing your work. It looks like you put a lot of time into getting everything the way you want it. Good to see some of the newer artwork options getting used. Maybe someday MAME will just present an element list with switches so you don't have to make views for each combination.
