I have Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers in my cab. Pretty intense little system. My arcade monitor has a distortion that occurs as a results of vibration. I noticed if I hit certain area of my cabinet I will see this flicker. It doesn't encompass the entire screen, but it very very annoying and ruins the game for me. I have to turn the volume down to the lowest level (next to nothing) in order to play without this happening. Seems to be getting worse.
I basically have no idea how to fix this issue.
If I had to guess, I imagine that it could be related to one or more of the pots in the monitor or the adjustment board.. Or would it be something else?
Any feedback would be appreciated!!

Are the speakers close to the monitor?
CRT's are effected by magnetism and speakers have pretty strong magnets in them.
Your monitor may need a degause.

Easy. Just wrap the speaker magnets with shielding foil.

These are magnetically shielded speakers. The issue gets worse as the volume goes up.. it is related to the sound vibration affecting something in the monitor.. I just have no idea what.

Maybe fit some rubber dampeners then if you think its due to the vibration?

You could have a detached shadow mask. It's rare, but does happen.
