I have a 31" sit down version of Cruisin' World with a dead monitor. I'm about to dig into it but for starters I have voltage at the transformer coming into the PCB, however there is no static on the front of the tube and the neck does not glow.
Upon further digging I discovered the monitor is some random vendor (GD Tronics) PCB on a Hitachi 30" tube. I keep blowing the K4 fuse upon applying power so my guess is there's a short somewhere. Possibly on one of the transistors? I can't seem to find schematics or really anything about this PCB and monitor so I'm hoping someone here has some experience, any help is appreciated! On power up I do get the 230V required (there's a step up transformer in the cab as I'm running 110v) but I haven't measured anything else other than the two fuses (K4 which blows and the other that's fine.)
The only things I can find on the board say "Models 13 to 33 inches" and "GD' TRONICS". The monitor chassis says GD' TRONICS MCG 28"-33" 25KHZ and the tube is a Hitachi M78LCU30X. The fuse in K4 is missing in the photos because I had just taken my second blown one out.
