Title: Looking for a replacement joystick shaft.
Post by: Osirus23 on October 05, 2020, 11:52:56 pm
Have some of these but the balls are permanently attached (and ---smurfy---). I have some fancier tops I want to use but need shafts to go with them.

I'm not having much luck finding just a shaft for them, though.

That looks similar to a pacman reunion joystick. Not an answer to your question but I sanded, primed, painted and clear coated one and it has held up pretty well.

I could try but I have some GGG Hand Candy tops on hand that I was hoping to use.

Possibly one of these would fit, although you might need to pad it with washers:

Failing that, Tornado Terry used to sell shafts and ball tops for that type of joystick.

Thanks for the suggestions. Now I'm not sure if I should take a gamble at one of those shafts or just order some OMNI2 sticks to use instead.
