Do you use some plumber's tape around the thread or something more permanent? Seems like my joysticks are always losing their balls that's what she said.

I would think if you really don't want it coming off, some E6000 super glue would probably do the trick. I'd be interested in all the options too. Not sure I wanna glue mine.
That also makes me wonder what modern arcades are doing. I noticed kids stole all the ball tops on a new TMNT cab at our local Cici's pizza chain. Little ---daisies---... :angry:

Loctite Red threadlocker. It's not 100% permanent, but permanent enough.

I use a drop of hot glue. You can get them back off, but only if you intend to.

I'll take a look. I probably don't want it to be permanent but I just don't want it coming unscrewed after 10 minutes like it usually does... on all 3 of my cabs LOL.
