I recently inherited an old Donkey Kong cabinet that was at some point converted to the Unisystem VS from Nintendo with Super Mario Brothers in it. It turned on and played the day I got it home and now every time I turn it on it either boots to a gray screen or boots to the game, but just scrolls constantly. I have included a picture of it booting to a gray screen for reference. Can anyone provide any insight as to what might have suddenly caused it to start doing this?

Has the game's power supply been recapped?
Have you pressed in any loose socketed chips on the game board?

I thought it may have been the power supply so I upgraded the power supply and rechecked all the volt. I'm now getting all the appropriate voltage on the game board. However, when I turn the game on (without the game board plugged in) the monitor turns on and looks about the same as it does in the previous picture. When I plug the game board in though I just get a black screen now.
