i was about to order Centipede Siderart and a centipede marqee (plexi incl).

as i have've heard good stuff about http://www.arcadeshop.com/ i took a look at their site..

and i emailed them about how much the shipping to sweden would be.
got a reply today saying it will cost $35 for the siderart and $35 for the marquee..

they want $70 to ship a few pounds! thats just wacko.
whats all this about their good reputation..?

i dont know how much the sideart weighs but i checked at www.usps.com and for a package under 2 pounds it costs between $13-19..



i wish bob roberts had sideart.. he's a nice guy.

That does sound excessive. I had a heavy box of car parts shipped from the UK to the US recently and shipping was about $60. I'm sure the stuff I ordered was WAY heavier than a marquee and side art.

Are you sure that's not a total price shipped?

Edit: never mind.  Checked the price for the sideart, and it's $125 alone.

he says that he cant send a marquee and a sideart together.. has to send 2 packages.
damn just a bigger box i say. or tape those together making one package. a package doesnt have to be square..

yeap. 125 for the sideart + 45 for the marquee + 35+35 in shipping= $240 phew!

do you know any other place they sell centipede sidearts and marquees?

he says the marquee is 6 pounds.. (seem maybe resonable) and the centipede sideart (a pair) is also 6 pounds.. is that true???

I can't imagine a marquee weighing 6lbs unless it's made of sheet metal.

There is absolutely no reason he can not send them both together.  Obviously this person can not pack.  I suggest giving your business to someone else.

http://www.classicarcadegraphics.com has the marque $30 + $10 for international shipping. I don't see the side art listed, but you might ask them about it.

i noticed i wrote marquee instead of bezel when posting here..
i meant centipede BEZEL with plexi + a centipede sideart..

but STILL $70 is way too much for both..
