hello friends i'm trying to use the amd radeon hd 4800 video card on windows 7 64, i do all the configuration on crt emudriver and the screen stays on 15 hertz, but when i start the game on mame there is no option
native super resolution 2560x0, I tried everything my mame.ini is with the monitor configuration generic_15, super_width 2560x0, resolution 2560x0, switchres 1, the strange thing that this configuration worked on my windows xp 32 bits
I'm using the emudriver crt version crt_emudriver _ & _ tools_2.0_beta_15_12.6_W.7.8.10-64,
already formatted windows and tried again and nothing the native resolution will not, I tried in cmd but the message switchres appears: could not find a video mode that meets your specs
I tried everything and no solution, I think this HD 4800 card only works on the same xp.
another thing I am wanting to buy another video card Radeon HD7670 4GB DDR5 128Bit PCI-E to mount on my third arcade, this works with crt emudriver?
thanks

Hi ninjitsu12,
For legacy cards (pre HD 5000) on Windows 7+ you must run GM with administrator rights in order to work. This is not required for HD 5000+ cards, that's one of the reasons they're preferred for Windows 7+. That HD7670 that you mention should work better.

hi calamity, I got it I had forgotten to put user_modes in the vmm user modes option - super, so it wasn't working, I had already done it twice and I don't know how I forgot kkkk.
thank you
now a question for games like genesis, snes, atari do i have to leave their video at 640x480 or do i have to leave the video in their native mode?
