I have been away from this forum for years now, but I am returning to explore the scene again. I plan on scouring the old posts to play catch up, but was hoping you guys could point me toward the current best place to purchase cabinets (flat packed) and shipped?
Thanks in advance.
Mike

Well these are sold assembled so maybe not what your looking for but brand new cabs for under $400... not including shipping.

Most are marked out of stock right now but I think that is being replenished in a few weeks.

Thanks. Thats one option. Still looking for other options.

I almost hate to mention them, but monster arcades has great DIY cabinets, but they come pre-assembled from birch plywood. You have to add controls, t molding, paint or graphics, etc.
The reason I don't want to mention them is that they are impossible to communicate with. They don't answer the phone. They don't respond to emails. They don't respond to facebook messages. It's a TERRIBLE way to run a business. I just don't get it.
All that being said, their 32" DIY slim cab was what I wanted so I dealt with the nightmare. I am just waiting for it to be shipped. Probably would have cost me more to buy the tools and make all the mistakes as I learned how to do cabinetry work myself.

Monster Arcades builds their 4-player CP’s with player 3/4 on an angle, meaning up is not towards the screen, it’s towards the angle.
If I have learned one thing from this site is that it’s a big no no, I want my builder to be an enthusiast and I don’t feel that’s the case if you are breaking that fundamental rule, it seems most of the large commercial builders do break this rule.

I never paid attention to that since I wanted a 2 player cab. But yeah, that's not good. I do love that the cab comes with tempered glass on the front and they will do custom control panels and cutouts for your coin door etc. Also, it's birch plywood, much better than MDF imo.

I don't think he does full size (except cocktails) but I was very impressed with the kit I got from Haruman's Customs. Plus, he's a member around these parts, communicates well, and will give advice if you ask.
