Hi,
I've a couple of extra Rpi's with touchscreens from work and I am planning on integrating one into the CP. However, I dont really have any ideas what to do with one. For now, it has a simple pyweb interface for people to add persistent "user profiles", volume and light controls and a soundboard. So that if its 1-4 players it generates a layout with selected sounds for some BM :)
Any idea would be much appreciated, especially outlandish ones. The rpi can call an API at the main arcade machine to do whatever is available on the machine.
Please move the thread if I posted in an inappropriate section

I think there have been one, maybe two screens integrated into a CP I have seen that were not a complete failure. It either made things too complicated, or looked like ass, but mostly both of those things.
You really should reconsider this idea.

Aaaw that's a shame. For the looking ass part its just black and the lights will be styled in the same manner as the rest of the CP (plexi top) and synced using MQTT, but there is a very real threat of it being ugly and non-functional. That's a shame though

About the. only thing I'd see as really useful would be game specific controls layout or instructions.
Beyond that... arcades don't really need em generally. Volume controls, audio playlist/jukebox stuff...
