OK, here's my MAME project I started about 2 weeks ago now. I found out about MAME about a month ago, and within' a few hours of finding out about it, I was planning planning planning.
My skills aren't even close to what many of you on this board have, but hey, as long as it's presentable, and doesn't fall apart when I'm slamming on the buttons playing street fighter II, I'll be happy with it.
And please, don't laugh at me for using the old stand by black marble contact paper control panel... It seemed like a cool idea at the time.... Still works good though.
Well, here's da' link: http://www.sztaba.com/mame

Man, you're fast. I've been planning for months and I'm still not decided on my cab.

Your cab looks perfect for a conversion project. I feel your pain about how frustrating it can be trying to find a suitable conversion cab. Took me over two months of steady hunting.

Is that cabinet picture mirrored are do I see joysticks on the right, buttons on the left?
~I'm crosseyed and myopic, so that might make a difference.

I think it looks great so far. Why the name Ms. Mandy?

I wasn't going to ask. ;)

......my son....enjoy the time now you're spending with Ms. Mandy. Take it slow and easy. This is the best part of the whole maming process.
......she'll be real purdy' before you know it!
Have fun.

Nope, you're not crosseyed, they were really like that. I have no idea... makes me wonder about the history of this cab, ya' know?
As for the name, I named it after my wife.... Just a little something for her putting up with me being out in the garage for hours on end while she's stuck in the house with the kids.
Thanks for the comments!
