I think I messed up something in my configuration, because I’m certain my P2 joystick was working previously. However, The MAME 2003 core now fails to recognize it. The P2 buttons work fine, and other libreto cores recognize the joystick. I don’t have anything set in my libreto-mame config or in the individual game configs that would be overriding a setting.
Anyone have any thoughts as to what it could be or how to debug?
FYI, running Retropie with EmulationStation.

If its working ok in other cores it must be getting overridden by a mame config.
If you dont think you have changed any just try backing them up then deleting them, The system should create new ones when you next boot it up.

After deleting about everything I could find I in the retroarch configs, I found where the problem was.
I deleted this file and the failing game .cfgs from the same directory:
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/arcade/mame2003/cfg/default.cfg
Everything is working again!
