Before COVID I started a MAME project, but things have moved around a bit and am not going to get to this any time soon. Got everything wired up, but need to run some extenders for the buttons on players 3/4, other than that this is up and ready to roll. Each joystick is a SANWA, and has a dedicated 4 way for the classics. Red lit LED for the trackball, and each button is a Ultimarc GoldLeaf RGB Illuminated pushbutton, comes with a couple PACLEDs, ipacs, etc. Spinner is from ultimarc as well. I've got an extra gaming PC if you want to throw that into the mix, or you can just use your own.
Would like to trade +/- towards a pin or digital pin, but am interested in a nice vid as well (can't take on a project or beater at this time, though). Located in San Diego.

Also want to emphasize that if you want to include the gaming pc that it does not include any ROMs, CHDs, or other copyrighted game files. Great gaming PC tho! :)
-
Can also sell outright if trade isn't viable, I know cash wise I won't get out of it what I put in ... but I'm sure we can work something out if someone is looking to buy it outright
-
How much are you looking for to purchase outright? Also do you have additional picture links as I am new and cannot seem to access the ones listed. Thanks!
-
Yeah if interested shoot me a DM, can take pictures/videos/whatever is most helpful. If selling directly I'd say $700 OBO.
-
$650 OBO
-
$580 OBO
-
Would trade for a cabaret project or cabaret cabinet if anybody has it
-
Can we see some pictures of it under the hood? The wiring, and how the controls are installed?
-
Yeah I can snap them today. Want to DM me your number and I can text them over, or an email if you prefer that way. Can get them by the EOB
Were you wanting it with or without the gaming PC? Either way, priced to move...I want this thing out by October! :dizzy:

Would you mind posting them here instead?
I'm more curious to see if the wiring and mounting was done correctly before comitting to anything.

I dunno man, that feels an awful lot like tire kicking :lol
I get it...but I’m done fussing with this one. I’m over a grand upside down, so I’m gonna throw it on Craig’s and drop the price til it sells. Until then it’ll be in storage.
-
Who's tire kicking? I asked a simple question for transparency.
What are you hiding under the hood?
-
Ha, it’s got some old pig feet in there.
Nah, to be honest I just thought this forum would kinda know what this stuff is. In general sales (offerup, craigs, etc) Sanwa/ultimarc/etc means nothing. They don’t know what this stuff is. I came here hoping somebody wanted to do this project and could see the value in it (in that it costs a lot more than what I’m scrapping to get). That wasn’t the case, tho. All good. I’ve put enough time and energy into it. If you’re upset I called you a tire kicker I apologize. I don’t aim to hurt feelings!

Yes. We know what it is. And we know when something is built properly.
I want to see if you angled those P3 and P4 sticks. Or if you routed the underside properly where the controls are mounted, because the buttons looks like the longer Happs, and the joysticks look mounted low. Not standard height sitting above the CP. Which leads me to believe the underside wasn't routed out. Then there's a question of how are the joysticks screwed into the panel? Are there threaded inserts?
What Sanwa joysticks are they? JLF, JLW??
All of these questions could have been easily answered by snapping a couple photos of what's underneath.
That's transparency. You're on a forum of builders here. If you're selling something that you claim is "ready to go" then the back-up would be to show that very little extra work is needed. If there's fixes to be made, then of course that should be disclosed.
Now I've gone and had to type all this up. Pictures could have saved time.

Fair point! Though the typing and the photos are two different things. I can type here all day. I gotta go to the cabinet at the home game room for photos. I’m happy to do that for a buyer, but I didn’t get the impression you were that. Looks like I was wrong!
But hey, all in all you’re totally right and I’m totally wrong. I’ll show myself out and apologize again for upsetting you!
