Title: Anyway to get rid of burn in?
Post by: paulwgraber on July 02, 2020, 04:32:14 pm
Just got a Nice WG D9400 with some burn in on the screen. Anyway to get rid of it or does it even show up once the games are going on it?
I guess this is normal for monitors like this.

Most of the time it is fine once a game is running.

Tinted glass.

You can also rub gasoline on it and microwave for 90 seconds.

This sounds like a potential solution for so many frustrating things...

Turn the tube around 180-degress to make the burn in much less noticeable. (which will require you top flip the individual yoke connections, and is the reason a lot of old yoke plugs are split. And also why some games have the option to do this via dipswitches, so you don't have to flip the connections).
