I’ve searched these forums and have seen many great Star Wars cockpit restorations, but I haven’t found actual dimensions for wood cutting.
I’m planning on building a cockpit for my basement arcade and I’m looking to get started with the woodworking.
Does anyone have a link to the dimensions/plans for the cab? It is greatly appreciated.

It is an ambitious build by any measure...

There is also an aussie gentleman I once saw had built one from scratch- maybe 15 years ago now but the effort in trying to template and cut that monster by hand makes a vcarve file and someone with a good cutting machine appear relatively cheap and quite appealing.
I would think one would have their hands full just drilling, gluing and assembling pre-cut pieces as it is (never mind all the other components.)

Thanks guys. I’ve seen that link to the cut file, but was hoping to get the dimensions because I’m thinking of making it slightly wider and maybe beefing up the seat a bit. I’m surprised those dimensions don’t appear anywhere as it’s seemingly easy to find them for other cabs.
That U.K. forum build is UNREAL. What amazing work!

There was someone else (can't remember if it was on this forum that I saw it?!) who acquired a cockpit cab and actually disassembled it to measure for exactly the purpose you speak of- and then posted the entire saga with pictures.
I have been searching the internets and digging through my computer for a bookmark and can't find it but I will post again if I can!

Yeah I vaguely remember that myself. You've got to keep in mind though, due to that temperamental vector monitor many star wars cockpits are at the dump at this point.
