I'm currently building a UAII cab, standard width (25")
That leaves me with 23 3/4" of width available for a monitor (using 5/8" MDF)
I'm going to use a 19" PC monitor to start, but might put in a "real" WG monitor down the road.
What size of monitor do you think I could get in there with that width available?
Thanks.

That width is INTERIOR width.
If you built it to 25", you have 25" for a monitor.
I remember reading a thread where someone got a 25 in monitor into a centipede with a custom frame, so I'm pretty sure you can fit a 27in monitor in there if you customize it.
I built mine to 27in on the top.... I can just fit a 27in monitor, but it's also got a large frame on it.

You're right about the width (brain cramp).
When I said that I'm currently building, I used the word "currently" loosely. I've only actually cut out a few pieces..... :-\
Here's a link to the WG site.

It shows their 27" monitor as being 24.390" in width, so it should fit fine should I decide to go that route someday.......

The centipede cab is 23.75" wide internally as well, so you should be able to fit a 25" monitor in there as long as the mounting ears are not on the sides of the tube.
