Hi, I'm new to here.
Fortunately I can output 480i 15khz signal to my jvc monitor by the emu crt driver
and run groovymame successfully.
It can switch to the right resolutions according to each game.
But I still confused that how to output 240p as the default desktop resolution.
Because 480i flash a bit especially when I play other emulators like fc,md,sfc.
They all displayed as 480i, not 240p which I expected.
I tried 2560 x 240@60p in arcade_osd.
The setting menu displays 240p correctlly but when I click 'set as desktop mode',
It can't display well, please see the pics I attached:

Super resolution modes (eg 2560 width modes) work great with Groovymame etc. but aren't great for desktop resolutions.
You'll want to make some "normal" desktop modes like 320x240, 640x240 etc by specifying them in your user_modes.ini file in VMMaker then generate/install as normal. Then you should be able to select them from ArcadeOSD.

Oh, that related to the super-resolution, I'll try what you told me and report later.
Thank you so much!

Thank you, Zebidee.
I've done what you said and made the desktop to 240p successfully.
But here comes new questions.
FC and GB emulators obviously look clearer than 480i very close to real machines.
But MD, SFC not showing much difference compare to 480i although I set the fullscreen mode to 320x240.
The pictures still not clear, just no flash.
The emulators are Fusion and Snes9x.
Would anyone know how to make MD and SFC emulators a clear and beautiful screen in 240p?
Many thanks.

Sorry, I don't know about those emulators. Probably something to do with their ini/config files I assume, maybe you set the resolution there. Somebody out there probably knows. I think there is a thread somewhere here concerning emulators compatible with CRTEMU.

Thank you again, I'll create a new post in related thread.

Hi, i attach my Fusion.ini file with UseExpertModes=1
You need 320x240@60 modeline installed too.
