Been a long time since I posted here. Mainly because cab has been fine for 14 years. Well things died forcing a rebuild/redo. Working on that over the last month or so.
I have things installed and CP is done but have an issue and need help please.
Controls
IPAC ultimate
(4) Servosticks
(2) U360 Flightsticks
(1) U-Trak trackball - connected via USB
(1) Ultimarc Spinner - connected via USB
(6) Gold Leaf RGB buttons for players 1 and 2 (each)
(4) Gold Leaf RGB buttons for players 3 and 4 (each)
Single LED buttons for Coin and Start for each player
Single LED buttons for Exit and Select on cab
U360s are programmed to different IDs than each other (one is 1, one is 2)
IPAC ultimate will not work if U360s are plugged in (doesn't matter if one is plugged in or both). If both are unplugged IPAC works.
U360s work no matter whether the IPAC is plugged in or not
This was working earlier this week and now I have spent all day trying to fix it. I have tried multiple cables and moved to different USB ports throughout the cabinet both motherboard based and HUB based. Still no luck.
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA
Greg

I recently upgraded my cabinet with U360 sticks as well and started getting some odd inconsistent behavior (my buttons and spinner all connected to IPAC2). My issue turned out to be limited power for the USB ports and once I had 4 USB devices plugged in, things got flaky. I bought a powered USB hub(see Amazon link below) and since I connected all USB devices to the powered hub and the hub to the PC (I'm using an Intel NUC), things have worked properly.

Thanks for the info but already using a powered hub in the cabinet and no matter where anything is plugged in or how few or how many devices are plugged in the issue still exists.

Not sure if my issue is the same but I can not seem to get some of my PC games to recognize that I want buttons on the I-PAC and my U360 to be seen as 1 controller. I have tried multiple modes for the I-PAC. I just can't seem to get them to work together. I am new to this so it is most likely user error but any guidance would be helpful. If this is not the same or a similar issue I will create a new topic. Don't want to hijack yours if it's not. :)

I would reach out to Andy at Ultimarc and see what he suggests trying to diagnose the issue.

I have. He is always extremely helpful and always responds quickly. I just try not to bug him so much. I have a few things I need to try and will definitely post when I find a solution. For the most part everything works extremely well, just a few games that want to cause me problems.
