Ok, I've got all my emulators running correctly, but I haven't found a front end that I can figure out how to run in a 240p mode.
Prefer attractmode or emulation station, but I'm flexible.
Progressive looks great. Interlaced is ok in games, too shaky in static menus.
Whoops, wrong section, can a mod delete this one?

So.. i've run into issues with this trying to get it to work-- Launchbox / AttractMode seem to want to use the windows resolution, so I've gotten it to launch in 480i.
I got windows into 320x240 pretty easily, but had some issues and never attempted to resolve -- moved to launchbox..

I suspect I'll use Mamewah once I get past it's many issues and have it sorted out with Win7 - or maybe just go with Attract Mode.
For the moment I'm happy with Mamewah on XP64. However great Mamewah is, it hasn't been supported for years, so keeping it running is like being a Dutch boy with your finger(s) in the dyke. Time to move on?
Two things I don't like about attract mode are 1) it's always running in desktop resolution (I like to keep desktop in interlaced mode, but run frontend in progressive); and 2) lack of GUI layout designer, which mean you have to literally become a squirrel nut to do new layouts (layouts are basically txt/program files written in "squirrel"), and makes it hard to tweak for arcade monitors converted from TVs (as editing text files on an arcade cab/TV/mounted CRT monitor is difficult).
One day I'll probably overcome these prejudices and embrace Attract mode - it does have a lot of other things going for it.
Nipsmg: With your large fonts, you can reduce the relative font size in control panel/accessibility, guessing that is what you needed.
