The player takes up control of Chap, a gardener wearing a straw hat, who must collect all the keys in sixty-one maze-inspired gardens in order to rescue his girlfriend, Rumina.
He can push the walls in the gardens over to crush the various enemies that pursue him, but they shall immediately be resurrected in the form of eggs which hatch after a few seconds.
Each round also has a preset time limit to ensure that the player does not dawdle - and once it runs out, a green-haired female vampire known as Tsukaima (who cannot be crushed by the walls)
shall appear in search of Chap's blood, as the music and all the enemies speed up.
There are also quite a few treasures hidden throughout the labyrinth, uncovered by pushing walls onto certain empty spaces.
Most of these are jewelry, which give points.
Some levels have large amounts of high-scoring jewelry which can be collected after every death, which those looking to bolster their score or earn extra lives may take advantage of.
Other hidden items include a catfish icon, which (given the common association between monster catfish and earthquakes in Japan) causes an earthquake to paralyze foes for a few seconds.
There are also spinners which the player can freely walk over, but they will reverse the movement of any enemy that might try to walk over them.

YAM are you back up and running?
Yep. The PSU was indeed shot, the new one works, so I'm back.
Is that your cab in your sig there?
Yep. It's actually two cabs, Clint & Pinup.

OK 256,460 last night. Not sure the round, maybe 16? My score per round is off though. I'm trying to take the biggest time bonus and get the gems that come easy.

This is a fun game once you figure out how to get past those  spiders

That is the same tactic that I am using. Although it seems like you have to repeat the levels a lot to figure out the monster's initial programmed path. That made the spiders a lot easier at least. I wasn't ready for the penguins though...

277,150. Looking forward to get to round 20, which will be a spider level. Yay.

Good game, I enjoyed that one. Finally found a working pattern for the spiders level 10. A nice side challenge would be to see if anyone can get to the end--I expect to find her stripped of the rest of her clothes.

Figuring out round 10 was key to my score. When I realized that going to the higher rounds and figuring out how to maximize the score would be too much hassle, I focused on figuring out round 10 and getting through the rest of the rounds on 1 life. So basically I went to round 17 on 1 life and spent the rest racking up points in round 10.
As for completing the game, good luck with that, it has 61 rounds.

Well played you two! Sorry I didn't post another run at this. The weather was incredible this weekend and I didn't get the machine fired up.
Next game is my pick again?!
Looking at the BYOAC High Game Scoreboard, there is no high score for on of my favorite games as a kid, Rampage! Let's shift gears and smash some buildings!
